You may have several different versions of Python installed because many programs install Python without asking. Open the Windows Control Panel | Programs and Features, and delete any existing Anaconda installations and any existing standalone Python instances. Then type the command “net user the_name” and look for the Local Group Memberships entry – it should read “Administrators”.ġ. This will show you your current user name.
